| ABC 7: CAIR-Chicago condemns Arson Attack at Chicago Synagogue - 125 sec CAIR-Chicago condemned an arson attack that occurred December 29, 2008 on a Chicago synagogue as reprehensible.
The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. Monday at Temple Sholom on North Lake Shore Drive. An individual allegedly threw an incendiary device against the wall of the synagogue causing a small fire.
"This reprehensible attack on a house of worship should be condemned by all people of conscience," said CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinator Amina Sharif. "We spoke with synagogue officials and are relieved to hear that no one was hurt."
