Al-A'raf: The Purgatory Alif. Lam .Sad. (It is) a Scripture that is revealed to you (Mohammad) so let there be no tightness (embarrassment) in your heart there from that you may warn by this means, and it is reminder to believers. (Saying): Follow that which is sent down to you from your Lord, and follow no helpers (and protectors) beside Him. Little do you recollect (remember)! How many a township (nations) have We destroyed? Our harm come to them, while they were at their homes (As a raid by night, or while they slept at noon, Our terror came to them). No plea had they, when Our terror (damage) came to them, except that they said: Lo! we were wrongdoers. Then verily We shall question those to whom (Our message) has been sent, and We shall question the Messengers. Then verily We shall narrate (legend stories) to them (the event) with knowledge, for verily We were not absent (when it came to pass) The weighing on that Day is the true (judgment). As for those whose Scale (level) is heavy, they are the successful. And as for those whose Scale is light: They are those who lose their souls because they disbelieved Our revelations. And We have given you (humankind) power in the earth, and appointed for you therein a livelihood not many give thanks (to God)! ........................................................................................................................? And establish (God) for us in this world that which is good, and in the Hereafter (that which is good), Lo! We have turned to you. He said: I smite with My punishment whom I will, and My mercy embraces all things, therefore I shall ordain it for those who fear (God) and pay the poor-due (charity), and those who believe Our revelations. Those who follow the Messenger, the illiterate Prophet (who can neither read nor write), whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul (unclean); and he will relieve them of their corrupt dressing that they used to wear (in this century). Then those who believe in him (Muhammad or Ahmad), and honour him and help him, and follow the light, which is sent down with him: they are the successful. Say (O Muhammad): O people! Lo! I am the Messenger of God to you all. Him to who belongs to the supreme power of the skies and the earth. None should be worshipped except God alone. He restricts (give life) and He gives death. So believe in God and His Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believes in God and in His Words and follow him that perhaps you may be led a right. ................................................................................................................................................ And when you ask your Lord: when your Lord proclaimed that He would rise against them (Ahmad Yahia) till the Day of Resurrection those who would lay on them a cruel torment (pain). Lo! Verily your Lord is rapid (quick) in prosecution and Lo! Verily He is Forgiving, Merciful. And We have sundered them in the earth as (separate) nations. Some of them are righteous, and some far from that. And We have tried them with good things and evil things that perhaps they might return. And a generation has succeeded them who inherited the Scriptures. They grasp the goods of this low life (as the price of evildoing) and say: It will be forgiven to us .And if there came to them (again) the offer of the like; they would accept it (and would sin again). Has not the covenant of they should not speak anything concerning God except the truth? And they have studied that which is therein. And the abode of the Hereafter is better, for those who are pious. Have you then no sense? And as for those who make (men) keep the Scripture, and establish worship Lord. We squander not the wages of reformers.

And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
